Ashley began her Jujitsu training under her father Professor Rory at the age of 5. She was promoted to nationally certified Shodan or 1st degree Black Belt in 1992. She currently holds the rank of nationally certified Godan or 5th degree Black Belt in Jujitsu by 3 national Jujitsu Organizations. Ashley is currently the head instructor of the Amador Judo and Jujitsu Studio which she took over in 2015.
Mrs. Firestone is nationally ranked Godan with Shoshin Ryu Yudanshakai, Pacific Jujitsu Alliance and Kilohana Martial Arts Association. Ashley also holds many State and National Championship titles. Ashley is also a Shodan 1st Degree Black belt in Kodokan Judo.
She has competed in Judo and Jujitsu competitions all over the county and was a California State Judo Champion as well as National Jujitsu Champion.
Ashley began the Amador Judo & Jujitsu Studio’s highly specialized 3-4 year old program in 1991, which today has over 50 students. This program is an integral part of the curriculum at the Amador Judo & Jujitsu Studio. Ashley also, teaches at national conventions as well as has DVD's on "How to Teach Jujitsu" for children.
Ashley is a nationally certified Jujitsu Kata judge and is the 2011 recipient of the prestigious AJJF Prof. Ray L. Law award.
Ashley continues to bring her training to the students of the Amador Martial Arts studio.
